Devil May Cry è un famoso gioco d'azione,per Playstation2 che nasce nell'ormai lontano 2001, dalla mente fervida di Shinji Mikami,ideatore anche di Residente Evil.Protagonista assoluto del gioco è Dante,un devil hunter figlio del Leggendario Cavaliere Nero Sparda e di una sacerdotessa umana di nome Eva,gestore di un negozio di sopranaturale di nome Devil May Cry.Nel corso della storia si farà la conoscenza di altri personaggi,come Vergil,fratello gemello del protagonista.Ad oggi sono usciti gia 4 giochi,più una Special Version del 3 in cui è utilizzabile anche Vergil,ed un seguito ora lo si aspetta per il 2012.
